Legal/Judicial Experience: Chelan County Superior Court Judge with 24+ years of judicial experience in the Federal, Superior, District, and Municipal Courts. Former U.S. Immigration Judge presiding over immigration and national security cases. Hearing Examiner, Assistant City Attorney and Deputy Prosecuting Attorney. Private legal practice with emphasis on criminal and civil matters. 

Other Professional Experience: City of Bellevue Police Officer. 

Education: JD, Seattle University; BA, Seattle University, Criminal Justice/Political Science, summa cum laude.

Community Service: Wenatchee River Bluegrass Festival Board member, YMCA mock trial judge, ABA Immigration Justice Project liaison judge, mentor to new immigration attorneys.

Statement: It is my honor to serve as Chelan County's Superior Court Judge since my appointment by the Governor. I am committed to the rule of law, due process, and access to justice. If retained, I will continue to make fair and impartial decisions, free of political influence, intimidation, or favoritism. 

I am the only candidate in this race with demonstrated judicial experience and training. My opponent has never been a judge, appointed or elected. I have presided over thousands of civil and criminal matters, including bench and jury trials. I have broad experience as a police officer, prosecutor, public defender, city attorney, and hearing examiner.

I have been rated "Exceptionally Well Qualified" by the Washington Asian and Latino Bar Associations, and, I have been nationally recognized for the highest ethical standards in law. Additional endorsements are on my website. Wenatchee is my home. My family and I are invested members within this community we love. 

Endorsements: Washington Council of Police and Sheriffs, Fraternal Order of Police; seven of nine members of the Washington State Supreme Court; former Chief Justice Gerry Alexander; over 70 judges from Washington courts; and the late Judge Thomas C. Warren.
